This is Bike Users Group’s website. We’re a student led group at the University of Vermont dedicated to spreading the good word of bicycles. We’ve set out to do that in a few different ways: by one, administering a campus-wide bike share available free to all UVM students, staff and faculty, so that all can experience the educational values innate to sharing bicycles. Secondly, we are also in the works of setting up our “The HIVE: Bicycle Education Center” the revamped version of our bikeshop that popped up a few years back, soon we’ll be back to help all you UVM students reacquainted with the lovely inner-workings of the bicycle. Both of these projects are meant to serve the greater goal of forming a community among bicycle users at the University of Vermont, the greater-Burlington area and beyond.
We’d love for you to join our group! We meet Wednesdays at 6:00PM outside the fine eating establishment, Brennan’s inside the Davis Center. Stop by and you can learn a little more about the Bike Users Group by getting involved in the turning of the gears.
